SAI ASHRAYADHAM

After spending a long time in Bombay, one fine day packing up everything and winding up his business Mr Sharma with his family came to Bangalore and settled at Kadugodi, near Whitefield. The orphanage named Sai Ashrayadham was started in 1996 with some blind children. Presently, there are 30 boys aged between 6 and 16 years who are either orphans/destitutes or poor and all go to nearby govt. schools.

Free food, shelter, clothing, coaching and medical attention are provided to the inmates. In the past 20 years as many as 200 children have benefited from this Institution and are well settled in their life. Our aim is to provide basic education and rehabilitation to the needy. In the past, basic computer literacy was provided to some village youths free of cost. In the early years more than 25 mass marriages were conducted. Tailoring training was given to more than 200 poor village ladies which helped them in getting employement in near by garment factories.

  • Immediately after opening the Orphanage, our beloved Baba appeared in a miracle form at the ashram as shown above. This was captured while taking the snap of some friends standing in a portion of the Ashram. Bhagawan Baba appeared in between which was noticed only after devoloping the negative. Later when this photograph was presented before Baba for blessings He nodded approvingly and suggested in Mr Sharma's dream to install a statue of Lord Krishna in that place. This is how Bhagawan Baba acknowledged the first Project-SAI ASHRAYADHAM. Subsequently, the other two projects - SAI AROGYADHAM and SAI GOKULDHAM were started in the year 2000 and 2004 respectively.
